Welcome to the Xi Chen Research Group in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of California, Riverside.

Our research focuses on the synthesis of novel quantum and energy materials and the investigation of energy-carrier transport across macroscopic and nanoscale length scales. We are particularly interested in relationships among materials synthesis, structure, and physical properties. Our goal is to develop advanced materials and fundamental understanding for quantum-information and energy-related applications.
